Travel by Train

Valence TGV station is 30km (20 miles) from our base in St.Nazaire and there are direct trains from Paris, Lille, Brussels and Amsterdam.

From the UK

The train is the prefered way to travel for many of our regular customers. If you get the 12.40pm train from Waterloo you arrive at Valence at 19.46. For the return, you leave Valence at 8.36 and get to London Waterloo at 13.25. These are both via Lille rather than via Paris. Fares start from £99 return.

Carrying your bike : You may get some contradicting information about the carriage of bikes, however the situation is as follows: bikes should be put in a bike bag or packed to a similar size i.e. 90cm x 120cm (3ft x 4ft) so that they fit onto the luggage racks. Bike bags can be rented from some cycle shops. Complete bikes cannot be carried on the Eurostar (except to Paris) or the TGV.

Booking : You can book up to 3 months in advance. NB For Valence the destination is 'Valence TGV'.
