Detailed information can be found on the European Bike Express website.
Over the years many of our customers have used the European Bike Express. It's a hassle free means of travelling and saves you all the worry of putting your beloved bike at the mercy of airport baggage handlers.
You travel to Valence where we meet you and take you to your accommodation at St.Nazaire-en-Royans 30 miles away. At the end of the week we can take you and your bags back to meet the Bike Express.
Leaving the UK on the Saturday you arrive early Sunday morning and have the rest of the day to relax and ride your bike. The following Sunday you leave Valence in the evening and arrive back in the UK on the Monday.
If you fancy a longer holiday we will be continuing our link-up with Velo-Ventoux, who are based further south in northern Provence. This enables us to offer dual and multi-centre holidays for people who don't want to spend two weeks in the same place.
We arrange the accommodation, can move your bags on, and provide detailed route descriptions and maps. We'll meet you at Valence and get you to Orange (or vice versa).
The main features are:
We have selected accommodation in independently run hotels or guest houses providing dinner, bed and breakfast. There's plenty of cycling and places of interest at each location so that you don't have to move on everyday.
You spend three or four (or more) days at each location.
30 to 50 mile (50km to 80km) routes for the recreational cyclist.
50+ mile (80km+) routes over challenging terrain for the sports cyclist.
Opportunity to ride Alpe d'Huez and Mont Ventoux.
This is a sort of 'a la Carte' service and we can design an itinerary to suit your requisites. Please contact the Office telling us what type of tour you are thinking of and we'll advise from there.
