We have a selection of good quality road bikes available so that you don't have to go to all the hassle of travelling with your own bike. They're reasonably lightweight and are well specced with gearing suitable for mountainous terrain. They are all different so you don't need to worry about looking like you're on a rented bike nor, heaven forbid, on an organised cycling holiday, when you pull up outside a cafe.
All our bikes, except one, have drop handlebars and we have a couple of women specific bikes.
Pedals: We have Look, Look Keo, and Shimano spd. You may prefer to bring your own.
Saddles: We have a selection of saddles but you may prefer to bring your own.
When renting a bike we'll ask you to send us the measurements of your own bike so that we can get as close to your fit as possible.
Here's a selection of the bikes that we have available for hire (NB these are only available to Gastrobiking customers).
If you're looking for somewhere to rent a bike close to Alpe d'Huez please go to Cycles et Sports in Bourg d'Oisans. They also have a good selection of souvenir cycling jerseys.
Below is a list of the bikes we have available.
