Based from a town called Die, this new cyclosportive with a choice of three circuits makes an excellent end of season event for a Cycling Holiday from Hell.

The circuits are to the south of Die so it's a great means for discovering some of the many scenic roads in the area which is called Drome-Provencale.

Raphael Poiree who originates from La Chapelle-en-Vercors, was the most successful biathlete before he retired at the end of the 2007 season.

Itinerary

Friday : Ride to Die from St.Nazaire or arrive at Grenoble airport.
Saturday : Do a shortish ride to Chatillon and maybe do the 70km circuit.
Sunday : Ride the event.
Monday : Return to St.Nazaire and/or transfer to Grenoble airport.

Fitness

There are no 'serious' climbs in the event but the roads are narrow and twisty making the descents quite technical.
