OTHER EVENTS

These are holidays and tours operated by people we know. Some have had the Gastrobiking experience whilst others are run by people we've met along the way.

We're often in contact with each other and regularly liaise to offer tailormade multi-centre tours.

VELOVENTOUX

Veloventoux is run by Craig and Vicky. Their base overlooks Mont Ventoux but the cycling suits all standards, and there are lots of vineyards to lead you astray.

TOUR DES COLS

A thee challenging three day tour run along Cyclosportive lines with timing chips and staying a high standard of accommodation.

The overall planning is Andy who has been on a few of Gasrobiking trips including the Marmotte and the Ardechoise. He's previously organised tours following the route of the Tour de France.

King of the Mountains

Guy and Helyn have converted an old village school into comfortable accommodation close to Alpe d'Huez. If you're after bagging one or two classic Tour de France climbs then this is the place to stay. In addition to Alpe d'Huez you can ride the Galibier, the Glandon, the Croix de Fer You're guaranteed plenty of excellent food and some mean cakes as well.

Out There Biking

Out There Biking is run by Cass and Cara. They organise small group rides in the Indian Himalaya for independently-spirited cyclists. Have a look at the website for some truely inspiring pictures.
